Richard "Richie" Shearman, 69 years old, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Lakewood, NJ. Richard worked as a mechanic for the Lakewood Police Department. Surviving are his wife Kathleen; daughter Kelly Vigneault and her husband Chris; 2 grandchildren Jacob Ryan and Chase Matthew.

Visiting was held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home in Toms River. Fireman's services were held at the funeral home, as were funeral services. Burial followed at the Greenville Church Cemetery.
