My cousin, Steven, was a great guy who suffered much in his last few years. His '70 LHS friends, who know who they are, were caring and loyal to the very end and Stevie's family thanks you all for that! Looking forward to thanking you all in person at the reunion.

Lynn,

I never knew Stevie was your cousin.  When he became ill, GA called me to tell me as we were all part of the same group of friends and we all shared a common bond...music.  Stevie was not a natural at guitar and,  as a lefty,  he had it even harder as most guitar players are righties and lefty guitars were hard to find back then.  But no one, and I mean no one worked harder at practicing and by the time we were all seniors at LHS, Stevie was an awesome guitar player.  I did not see him in his final months (selfishly, I could not bring myself to go see him...I have a problem with that),  but we did speak.  I understood Steve and related to him as we were growing up I loved Steve very much and I think of him all the time, especially every Friday night when Gary, Shotgun and I get together to play music.

Peace

Stevie was a beautiful person.  When GA told me of his passing, I told him I was sorry for his loss.  While we all suffer when someone like Stevie leaves us, there are those who suffer especially hard because they were so close. To have known him was truly a privilage. To those who knew him better, I'm am sorry for your loss, I know you loved him.
