The Lakewood High School Reunion Planning Committee has been busy planning our 40th class reunion to take place October 8, 9 and 10, 2010.
All classmates that attended LakewoodHigh School as part of the class of 1970 are invited to participate, regardless of your actual graduation date or school. In an effort to keep contact with fellow classmates and make reunion reservations easier, the Reunion Planning Committee has launched a FREE web site for our classmates. Please go to our free class website at www.lhs70.org and enter your profile information. You can also get in touch with fellow classmates on our site and keep up to date on old friends, etc.
We are actively trying to locate classmates to keep them up to date on the 40th class reunion events which include:
Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 7pm Meet & Greet (cash bar)
Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at 7pm LHS Class of ’70 - 40th Class Reunion
Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at 10amFarewell Brunch
(free for hotel guests, nominal charge for others)
Tickets for the Reunion are $100.A 10% discount will be applied if purchasing 2 or more tickets. If you have already paid the $100 fee for 1 ticket, an additional guest ticket may be purchased for $80. If tickets are available, they may be purchased at the door for $100 per ticket.
You can easily register for the reunion on this website by clicking on " 40 Year Reunion " near the top of the column on the left. You have the option of paying by check, credit or debit card. A 10% discount will be applied if purchasing 2 or more tickets. If you have already paid the $100 fee for 1 ticket, an additional guest ticket may be purchased for $80. We are also interested in locating students that moved from school before graduation as well as upper and lower classmates that attended LHS within the years 1966 - 1970. Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 7pm Meet & Greet
This will be an informal event to give classmates the opportunity to unwind, meet up with classmates and enjoy a few cocktails (cash bar) with music for dancing provided in the hotel lounge.
Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at 7pm LHS Class of ’70 - 40th Class Reunion
This is the main event and the Reunion Planning Committee is working hard to assure it is fun and memorable! Please dress in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. The event includes a 2 hour open bar, with a 2 hour cash bar to follow. A banquet style dinner buffet is included and will include an appetizer, salad, 3 entrees served with herb roasted potatoes, fresh vegetable medley and freshly baked dinner rolls with butter, followed by a dessert and freshly brewed coffee and tea. (Note: the hotel has vegetarian, vegan, and gluton free entrees - please notify the Reunion Committee if you wish to take advantage of these entrees.)
Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at 10amFarewell Brunch
This will be an informal farewell oppportunity for classmates to get last minute contact information from friends and enjoy a hot breakfast buffet (free for hotel guests, nominal charge for others).
The reunion tickets are priced at $100 with a 10% discount for the purchase of 2+ advanced purchased tickets.
All tickets at the door (IF AVAILABLE) will be priced at $100 per ticket.

Classmates concerned about travel arrangements while staying at the Quality Inn, please be sure to ask the hotel what travel arrangements are available. Also, upon arrival, please contact the Reunion Planning Committee members to let them know you have arrived to assure you are not sitting alone at the hotel.
